Creativity needs room to breathe…
With the announcement of a £40m investment within the historic Blackfriars area of Gloucester, the University of Gloucestershire has ambitious plans to develop a new campus in the heart of the city for its art, media and communications faculty.
Several other Gloucestershire institutions, including the Media Academy at Cirencester College and the Arts & Media Department of Gloucestershire College, also offer opportunities to nurture and develop talent, as well as offering training courses and valuable advice.
Cheltenham Film Studios & Manor by the Lake provides a self-contained media village, set in its own grounds on the outskirts of the Regency town. Home to the International Screenwriters’ Festival, and the Gloucestershire Media Group, the location provides a range of accommodation and facilities to creative and media companies.
